Condition

Canvas has been relined. Craquelure throughout the work particularly noticable to the right of the window. Frame abrasion and associated paint loss to all edges, particularly the left edge, and upper right corner. Uneven varnish is visible, particularly to the upper edge of the work. Ultraviolet light reveals some minor retouching to the edges. Held in a decorative, gilded, composite frame.
