Condition
The canvas has been relined, visible along the edges in the frame. Craquelure and a discoloured varnish throughout. Ultraviolet light reveals retouching throughout, including to figures in foreground and latrger patches to the sky and along the left of the composition. Held in a decorative painted composite frame in worn condition.
