Condition
The canvas has been lined. There are patches of frame abrasion, especially along the bottom edge of the canvas, and stretcher marks visible especially along the top, left and right sides. There is a broad area of craquelure mainly to the centre. Ultraviolet light reveals a few small areas of retouching. Held in a decorative gold-painted frame.
