Condition
Original canvas. There are two patches to the reverse of the left side of the painting. A vertical strtetcher mark is visible through the centre of the painting and there is some scattered craqulure. Ultraviolet light reveals a vertical patch of retouching to the lower left, (approx 8 inches) corresponding the patch on the reverse and visible to the naked eye. Further minor spots of retouching elsewhere. Held in a decorative gold painted composite frame.
