Condition

STRUCTURE Panel with modern backing PAINT SURFACE There is some fine craquelure in horizontal lines accross the painting in keeping with its age. The is some very minor frame abrasion to the paint surface along the top of the panel. There is a chip where a small part of the panel is missing on the upper left edge of the picture. This is mainly concealed by the frame. ULTRAVIOLET Ultraviolet light reveals scattered minor re-touching throughout, and some concentrated re-touching to the upper right of the panel. FRAME Held in a wooden and gilt frame.
