Description
composé d'une guanyin en ivoire assise sur un petit socle en bois, tenant un ruyi dans sa main gauche; d'une divinité féminine en corail sur un petit socle oval en ivoire sculpté d'un dragon; et d'une règle en ivoire à décor incisé sur un côté de deux dragons se disputant la perle d'immortalité, l'ivoire avec une belle patine
Condition
Ivory ruler: a couple small nibbles to the edges but otherwise in good condition, warmer tone than illustrated.
Guanyin: overall in good condition.
Coral figure: hairline crack of approx 4.5cm down LHS of shawl. Another hairline running across the RHS of shawl, and another short hairline running down the part of the shawl below the right hand. Natural flaw to the stone down her left upper body, and another at the reverse, on top of her head. The colour is slightly less dark and less orangey-brown than illustrated, and more orangey-red.
