Catalogue Note
It is rare to find examples of this kind that survive intact. Similar pieces of related shape incorporating trailed and moulded decoration are published by Carboni in the al-Sabah Collection, Kuwait (Carboni 2001, pp.234-241). The bottle LNS 1 G even has the same moulded flowerhead to the base (ibid. pp.234-5, cat.65).
