lower end with original flatwoven end finishes with some loose threads and losses, repaired tension break approximately 3cm long in centre of bottom edge and with half a dozen small tension folds in lower border (would benefit from strengthening wefts), upper end with approximately 3cm warp fringe, extreme corners with old cobbled repairs probably from where rug was hung, original sidecords some very minor moth damage generally on extreme edges, very minor spotting in field, may improve with cleaning, near original pile approximately 4mm in depth overall, in very good condition
