of rectangular form standing on bracket feet, with a sloping hinged lid, covered throughout in tortoiseshell and decorated with floral and palmette sprays in mother-of-pearl inlay, the front panel with pierced silver lock plate and two small drawers flanking a longer central one, side and rear floral panels against a trellis ground

in good condition throughout with some wear to the velvet interior lining associated with age, as viewed.
