the ewer of elegant pyriform shape with fluted body, a swan-necked spout terminating in a narrow trumpet mouth, the scroll handle chased with leaves and joined to the domical cover by a hinged foliate thumbpiece, the neck and cover stamped with tughra, the basin with wide flaring fluted walls with tughra stamp, the detachable filter with pierced floral design encircled by an arcade of palmettes
