- Dated A.H. 1196/A.D. 1781-1782
the barrel inlaid with gold and designed with foliate decorations at the muzzle with five engraved silver barrel bands (two have been replaced), the breech stamped with the maker's mark, gold-lined and dated, the lock with floral designs and copper-lined with the maker's mark, the wooden stock covered with panels of mother-of-pearl and inlaid with brass pellets and green-stained bone and dark horn roundels, with panels gilt-coppered with floral engravings held in place with decorated silver studs, the original steel-tipped ramrod, a faceted butt en suite with the ivory butt-plate, with a button trigger, a picker and green stained fore-end cap
