Description

the curved double-edged watered-steel blade, decorated with gold overlaid inscriptions along the back edge and within cartouches and  roundels around the forte, the hilt with palmette quillons and bird-form pommel, engraved with a scale motif and floral scrolls

Condition

in good condition, with minor losses to the gold overlay at the forte and a very small chip to the blade a quarter of the way down, as viewed.
