Description

of domed circular form with four foliate bosses, the body chased, engraved and decorated with gold overlay with an all-over design of foliage and hunting scenes, with a central roundel depicting a lion attacking a bull, bordered by a band of  paired rabbits and goats, with cusped cartouches enclosing figures on horseback and animals in combat on a scrolling floral ground, crescent-shaped mount, the reverse lined with velvet, metal and leather fittings
