Description
of domed form in watered steel with a movable nasal guard flanked by two plume holders, gold-overlaid hunting scene and scrolling design with palmette terminals, the rim and crown with bands of calligraphic script together with a camail of chain mail with passages of gilding, later spike finial

some very slight wear to the calligraphic bands, small loss to the nose guard, as viewed
