the top inlaid with geometrical designs composed of sections of tortoiseshell with ebony and mother-of-pearl borders, supported on outward-sloping hourglass legs joined by a horizontal stretcher

Condition

Good condition, with minor losses to surface tortoiseshell, hairline crack along middle of surface associated with age, very slight splitting to bottom left corner, as viewed.
