Description
the ewer of extended globular faceted form, with high foot and stepped base, anthropomorphic spout, knopped finial to the hinged lid, carpet of dense foliate motif with overlay of knotted vegetal motif forming a complex trellis; the dish shallow with flat rim, decorated with a dense carpet of foliate motif, also with complex overlay forming eight bands of lobed medallions and cartouches

In good condition, minor staining, surface wear and accretion as viewed.
