Description

of truncated conical form with flaring walls stepped down to a straight vertical foot, painted in lustre over the glaze with four figures evenly spaced around the bowl separated by four open-centred palmettes contained in palmette cartouches outlined in blue and reserved on a lustre ground, the centre with a medallion containing a six-pointed star enclosed by a concentric band of naskh script, the reverse with a broad band of kufic script

Condition

intact and in fine condition, slight weathering on one side with associated loss of colour more noticeable on the back, overall good, as viewed
