Description
the hollow base of oblong form supported on zoomorphic legs in the form of three addorsed lions, the sides decorated with a kufesque band and each of the three lions with a palmette medallion and split-palmette ears, their eyes inset with turquoise

Condition
pitting and patination consistent with age, loss of turquoise inlay to one of the eyes, pierced apertures either side of the base and behind each lion indicate that this tripod was originally part of a lampstand, as viewed
