Description
of spherical form supported on a narrow splayed foot, with slightly inverted sides and cast foliate handle, the body engraved and inlaid in copper with alternating roundels enclosing stellar motifs and birds amidst palmettes scrolls all on a ring-punched ground, narrow scrolling band below and calligraphic band above with further palmette scrolls
