  • A Greek Terracotta Figure of a Goddess, Boeotia
  • Height 8 1/2 in. 21.6 cm.
wearing a long robe and broad double belt decorated with zigzag and rows of dots, pendant suspended from the neck, and flaring polos with large volute in front, the face with large dotted pointed-oval eyes, her long wavy hair falling onto the shoulders and back.

Condition

repaired across waist, volute repaired, small chip on nose, light abrasion to paint on back of polos, remains of incrustation overall, lower half dirty (palm grease from handling?)
