  • Two Cobalt Blue Core-formed Glass Aryballoi
  • Heights 2 3/8 and 2 7/8 in. 6 and 7.3 cm.
each with ribbed globular body, looped and trailed handles, and flaring mouth, one with the translucent matrix decorated with a broad zigzag band in opaque yellow and turquoise, a spiral thread below, a yellow collar on the rim, the other with the translucent matrix decorated with a wide zigzag band in opaque turquoise and yellow, spiral thread below and above, a turquoise collar on the rim.

both aryballoi intact, the one on the left somewhat weathered and pitted, a minor superficial hair-line crack, the one on the right good and as shown.
