  • A Black-Glazed Hydria, Magna Graecia
  • Height 17 1/2 in. 44.5 cm.
with ogee foot, cylindrical handles (one with ancient lead repair), and reserved overhanging rim painted with an ovolo kymation.

Condition

good, intact except for one handle repaired once in antiquity with lead clamps and inexpertly in modern times with cement, small shallow chip under foot, very minor nicks to glaze, areas of light incrustation in handle areas
