Condition
The painting is in overall good condition. The canvas is clear and taut.
Examination under ultraviolet light reveals retouching on the top and bottom edge of painting, a spot of retouching in the sky and several spots on the horse. Retouching is only visible under ultraviolet light. Some craquelures present on the upper right corner, but paint layers are otherwise intact. Colours are richer in reality, but blue hue overall more vivid.
