Condition
The painting and lacquer are in good condition, except for a small chip on the corner of painting.
Examination under ultraviolet light shows no sign on retouching.
The paint layers are stable and intact.
The colour of the actual painting is less reddish than illustrated. The orangey brown is more subtle and not as bright in reality.
