Very good condition; unframed: hinged to the mat at three places along the upper edge, a ½ inch indentation in center right.

Catalogue Note

On an invitation from famed art patron Mabel Dodge Luhan, and encouraged by friends Georgia O'Keeffe and Paul Strand to visit New Mexico to paint the vast, rugged landscape, Marin spent seven months in Taos in 1929 and 1930.
