Canvas is lined. SURFACE: in generally good condition; fine craquelure throughout (flattened and stable from relining) UNDER ULTRA VIOLET: inpainting throughout--a few repaired tears--the largest starts at right edge, center, and extends horizontally left to the large tree and goes up (roughly "L" shape on its side), about 27 inches long; another at lower right (about 4 in. long); a few scattered smaller tears; inpainting throughout the sky and scattered spots throughout the darker areas as well
