Canvas is lined. SURFACE: in good condition UNDER ULTRA VIOLET: two horizontal, parallel repaired tears at upper right, the larger about 4 in. long, in the shape of a "T" on its side, the smaller about 2 in. long; upper part of the central figure's red coat is strengthened; aside from this, several scattered spots, dots, dashes of inpaint, most of them at upper right and a few at lower left
