Catalogue Note
Gjertson is a founding member of the Society of Classical Realism Guild of Artists. A lifelong resident of Minnesota, he attended the University of Minnesota and then studied with Richard Lack at the latter's atelier in Minneapolis for his advanced artistic training. The artist has received many important awards and his work has been exhibited in several west coast museums.
