La lame puissante faite d'une vertèbre animale à l'extrémité taillée en pointe est montée sur un manche droit, entièrement recouvert d'une ligature en écorce. A la beauté fatale des formes naturelles s'ajoute celle des teintes anciennes et nuancées, crème et brun jaune. cf. Force (1971 : 365, n° 1724) pour une hache comparable dans la collection James Hooper.

Condition

Good condition overall. Wear consistent with age and use within the culture. A few small breaks in the ligature.
