bulenga, le personnage masculin armé dans la main droite d'un large couteau à la lame pointée vers le ciel, et tenant dans celle de gauche une petite coupe remplie de kaolin. La puissance de la représentation est accentuée par la pose hiératique, les volumes stylisés aux articulations détaillées, et par la tête proportionnellement grande, au visage paré d'un anneau nasal et de scarifications en volutes sculptées en champlevé, selon les canons de la statuaire Luluwa. Epaisse patine croûteuse, sombre.

Good condition overall. Wear conssistent with age and use within the culture. Thin crack along the right side of the belly; a few tiny losses to the thick patina on the face.
