carved from hippopotamus ivory (hippopotamus amphibius) the abstract anthropomorphic figure with swelling abdomen and oval head, with numerous ritual scratches on surface; 'FC 4561' in white pigment on bottom; fine honey brown patina.

good condition overall; vertical age cracks; metal peg inserted in bottom (mount); very worn and dry on right side, left side of body with fine honey brown patina.
