Description

carved from warthog tusk (phacochoerus africanus), the frog of abstract overall form with bent limbs close to the body and a triangular head, with incised features and geometric decoration; exceptionally fine gold-brown patina with traces of pigment.

excellent condition overall; wear and tear consistent with ritual use, lower lip chipped; exceptionally fine gold brown patina with traces of pigment.
