- Sizes: 50 cm, 23.5 cm
the larger example of elongated ovoid form loosely woven using native plant fibres with bush string attached at the top to form a handle and some native repairs; the smaller example of similar form, constructed of tightly woven native fibre with an old label attached to the string handle which reads: 'Queensland basket'

Condition
Larger basket: The basket is missing a segment at the upper rim and there is a tear approximately 2 – 3cm in diameter otherwise it is in good condition with no visible repairs or restoration.
Smaller basket: The basket is in good condition and the handle has been repaired using Western materials probably prior to collection.
