  • Lengths: 76 cm, 65.6 cm, 64 cm
all early examples carved in hardwood of ovoid form with gently curving fronts decorated with fluted designs divided into three sections, infilled alternately with red and white pigment, the backs with engraved, linear fluting and loop handles

Condition

The shield have suffered many areas of pigment loss and are worn around the edges. The three wunda shields are in generally good condition.
