  • Lengths: 62 cm, 86 cm, 80 cm, 65 cm
including a rare West Australian spearthrower, the surface engraved with traditional designs and depicting two ancestor figures; a wunda shield, West Australia, with deeply fluted traditional designs to the front and reverse with loop handle; a north Australian paddle club, the flattened blade decorated with an engraved figure to one side and traditional designs in white pigment on both sides, the handle bound with fragmented string to form a grip; an unusual yoke-like object of elongated leaf-like form terminating in a round knob at each end, the surface engraved with traditional zig-zag motifs

Condition

All four of the artefacts are dry and have evidence of use / scuffing. There is damage to the edges and a large crack in the Wunda shileld, with no visible repairs or restoration.
