  • Length: 88 cm
carved in hardwood, the highly convex front decorated with deeply incised herringbone motifs infilled with traces of white pigment, divided into sections by undecorated bands, the reverse slightly convex with deep-cut handle of circular section, old shiny patina overall

Condition

There are no visible repairs or restoration to the narrow shield. The shields surface appears to have been waxed.
