Catalogue Note

This painting is sold with an accompanying Papunya Tula Artists certificate that indicates that these designs depict a group of ancestoral Women at the rock-hole site of Parrntu, to the west of Lake MacDonald. The woman have been gathering mungilypa seeds, the small fleshy shrub that grows near semi-saline lakes or claypans. The Kuniya (Snake Dreaming) is also associated with this site.
