This painting is sold with an acommpanying Papunya Tula Artists certificate that reads in part: 'In this work the artist has shown the mythology assocaited with the site of Natanya to the west of Kintore Community in Western Australia.
The roundels show the various camp sites of a group of women who were travelling in the area. The footprints show their movements within the area. These woman tracked a poisonous snake and killed it with a fighting club. The red areas show where the women were eating the snake which they had put in their wooden carrying bowl. The design at the edges of the painting show the ranges in the area.'
