Catalogue Note
'I like the liquid lines of this picture. On the right the sheep seem almost to flow away down the hill and round the corner, and the line they make is carried on by the figure of the shepherd in the distance and bends away on the far side of the wood below, emphasised by some lovely greens and blues.'
