- 24.5cm. high.
9-cm enamel dial with Roman numerals and cenral alarm marking signed Chevalier au Tuileries, foliate pierced and engraved gilt hands and steel alarm pointer, similarly signed fusee and chain movement now with a platform lever escapement, pull wind alarm on two bells, pull wind quarter repeating on two bells,waisted ormolu case throughout adourned with foliate scrolls and leaves surmounted by a handle, trellis sides and front panel, the whole raised on scoll feet
Condition
dial with a hairline crackscrewed to the frontplate, dial looks old but might be replaced because there are three unidentified holes in the frontplate, movement used to have a balance wheel on the bckplate which is now replaced by a modern platform escapement which has left a number of unidentified holes, movement in running order, case in original condiiton with the gilding also in ogood condition, right hind leg with an old repair, no winder
