Retouched damages are furthermore visible in the upper centre and in the background on the right. Very thin filled cracks can be seen throughout. The paint surface is covered with a slightly dirty and glossy layer of varnish. Inspection under ultra violet light furthermore, reveals extensive retouchings throughout, e.g. in the lion, in the back of the central putto, in the background and along all edges.
