Description

  • clock: 41cm high, candle sticks: 17.5cm.
movement with anchor escapement and silk suspended pendulum, inverted Y-shaped plates and large first wheel with Y-shaped spokes, going train winding an auxiliary spring for the countwheel striking on a bell, finely pierced gilt rosette dial with cartouche enamel Arabic numerals forming the window of the architecture case throughout adourned with foliate and geometrical filigrain ornament, surmounted by an urn and two finials, oval break arch base raised on turned feet, together with two matching similarly decorated candle sticks 

Condition

numerals in good condition, hands replaced, movement as a great wheel skeleton clock from the second quarter of the 19h century, both case and movement are very rare to be like this, movement in working order and good condition, case in good condition with the gilding intact, from small holes at the back it shows that the case had something as a back, candlesticks both in good condition although one is slightly tilted, together with a winder, regulation key,a pendulum and two candle sticks
