- Portrait of a lady, said to be Madame d'Aubonton, half length, wearing a white dress and a pearl necklace, in a drawn oval

Condition
The actual pastel is slightly less red, and slightly more greenish in tone than the catalogue illustration suggests. The pastel has been very well preserved.
A small retouched diagonal tear of approx. 3 cm. is visible in the lower left corner, and there's a small retouched damage to the upper left. Otherwise, no damages seem to be apparent. Offered in a plain wood frame with a glass plate. (MW)
