Condition
Restored condition, over-gilded, overall with some infilled age cracks with areas of inpainting and with small patches to veneers; repair to front left corner molding beneath cornice; cornice possibly associated and in need of adjustment to fit top; glazing and central glazing bars possibly later; later handles and keyhole escutcheons with subsequent small patches to drawer fronts; the interior of the upper section with later lining and pierced in the back, two later adjustable shelves; the back feet of the lower section possibly later; later leather-lined slide with two small age cracks; two small drawers with later bottoms, long drawers with reinforced age cracks; some minor areas of old worm, old marks, scratches, scuffs and bruises consistent with age and use.
