the rectangular ebonized wood base with gadrooned border with shells flanked by acanthus at intervals and corners, raised on four bold winged paw feet , the base with two grooves for pens and fitted with a removable tapererstick, extinguisher and two square cut-glass bottles

ebonizing lacking from pen wells, join of two panels separating, one butterfly clamp missing
