Condition

In overall good condition with old marks, scratches, scuffs and bruises consistent with age and use, areas of old worm to seat rails and to tops of legs, chair "4" with old repair to right stile, chair "VI" with old repair to back right leg and to top of right stile, chair "II" with old repair to top right leg and with patch to middle of same leg, chair "V" with later corner blocks, right side brackets replaced, front corners with old repairs, slight separation at lines of construction, some areas of old glue at joints, some minor age cracks and very minor patches to veneers of seat rails with areas of inpainting and infilling, drop-in seats later.
