Catalogue Note
This preparatory sketch includes the reverse of the leaf prepared with pencil rubbing for transfer of outlines. The Pooh Cook Book, "inspired by" the A.A. Milne stories was written by Katie Stewart and published by Methuen in 1971. It was later renamed The Pooh Corner Cook Book. This lot also includes a black and white photograph with comments from the publisher ('Extend "floor" to go around spine', for example).
