Generally very good overall condition. The bronze has been polished and lacquered. There is some surface dirt and rubbing to the bronze as expected. The shell has a number of cracks and restorations with glue and pearlized paint, the largest of which is evident in the catalogue illustration. The silvered metal mount that attaches the shell to the base has some losses and rubbing to the silvered finish as expected. There are some old glue drips to the underside of the shell where the mount was reapplied. The plug and wire appear to be original, but the socket is replaced. The switch is original but is loose and does not currently function. The lamp is currently fixed in the "on" position. The wiring is freyed and would benefit from updating.
