Condition

Generally very good overall condition. Some minor rubbing and wear to marble top as expected from light use. The shagreen surface has been refreshed with a thin layer of whitewash. The shagreen has some minor lifting notably at the corners of the doors with a few scattered minor losses. The central door opens to reveal a single shelf. The side doors each open to reveal 6 shallow drawers either for silver or linens. The top drawer enclosed behind the right proper door is lacking most of its left side panel due to an old break, the piece is not retained. Some of the drawer stop pegs are lacking but it does not affact the functionality of the piece. The gilt bronze mounts have some mellowing and pitting from age and light use.
