Condition
There are some chips to the paintwork within the upper left and right quadrants. The work has been scuffed towards the centre of the left edge. There is some blooming and dirt on the surface of the work. The canvas is slack causing slight undulation within the lower half. Held in a gilt wood and plaster frame with a hessian slip. Inspection under ultra violet light reveals no evidence of retouching.
